Our second game is cooking. Nukkad Rush puts you behind the counter of a street-food stall on a busy corner, and an early preview is already playable at nukkadrush.nukkadgames.com.

Cook, serve, survive the rush

You play the cook. Move around the stall with the keyboard, grab ingredients, cook at the stations and hand plates to customers before they lose patience. The stall starts with vada pav, and new dishes join as you buy the equipment for them:

  • Vada pav and chai at the takeaway counter.
  • Pani puri from a thela cart, served puri by puri, six to a plate.
  • Pav bhaji on the tawa for diners at the footpath tables.

Fifteen days to make it

Each run is fifteen days with three lives. When the stall closes at night you pick one of three cards to change how the next day plays, then decide what to buy. Win the run and the stall stays open for endless overtime to chase a higher rank.

The look

The art is bold and flat, with thick outlines, truck-art patterns on the counters and the hand-painted signage you see over real stalls in Mumbai. It is a long way from the grey boxes we started with.

What comes next

The preview plays best on a desktop browser with a keyboard. We are still balancing the days, adding dishes and polishing the stall, and we will post updates here as it comes together. If you try the preview, tell us what you think at hello@nukkadgames.com.
